Teach me and I'll remember.
Involve me and I'll learn."
Weaving Well-Being gives children and youth the opportunity to weave positivity into their daily lives through a range of activities in a variety of areas. These areas include identifying and using their authentic character strengths, boosting positive emotions, developing and nurturing positive relationships and connections, building practical resilience skills (including mindfulness), and developing self-efficacy through empowering beliefs.
There are many other components to the Wellness for All Workshop series that includes both personal and professional development for anyone involved. Life skills are approached at all levels, as well as ways to integrate the WFA topics into real life situations. The single, strongest feature of the WFA Workshop series is that fact, that when schools carve out 20 minutes every day to practice the newly taught wellness habits, the greater their success! Positive Psychology is underpinned by the concept that a state of well-being is not simply the absence of the negative, but the presence of the positive.
